1. Controller and scope
This Policy describes how Taxi Well processes data through its website, Dispatch system, APIs, email, telephone, WhatsApp and transfer services in Thailand. It covers passengers, bookers, business customers, providers, drivers and other contacts.
2. Data we may collect
- Identity and contact data, including names, telephone numbers, email addresses and user accounts.
- Booking and journey details, including dates, times, pickup and drop-off points, flights, passengers, luggage, wheelchair requirements, child seats and other special requirements.
- Operational records, including providers, drivers, vehicles, registration numbers, service status, location data sent during a service, evidence images and change history.
- Business and financial records, including customer references, prices, costs, invoices and payment status. We do not ask customers to send payment-card details through ordinary communication channels.
- Communications through email, telephone, WhatsApp, Meta and booking partners, together with technical and security logs.
3. Sources of data
Data comes directly from individuals, people booking on their behalf, business customers, booking partners, providers or drivers, and communication platforms selected by the individual. Anyone supplying another person's data must be authorized and give any legally required notice.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to quote, confirm and perform services; assign vehicles, drivers and meeting arrangements; communicate about a job; handle emergencies and support; assure quality; issue financial records; prevent fraud; secure systems; resolve disputes; operate partner integrations; and comply with law. Depending on context, processing is based on contract, legitimate necessity, consent or legal obligation.
5. Passenger contact and avoid_msg
Where a booking partner sends a no-contact instruction such as avoid_msg: Y, Taxi Well will not directly send SMS, WhatsApp or email to the passenger and will communicate through the partner, except where safety, an emergency or law requires otherwise.
6. Recipients
We disclose only what is necessary to the booking customer or partner, transport providers, drivers, airport meeting or ground staff, hosting and storage providers, communications providers such as Meta or WhatsApp, professional advisers, and authorities where legally justified. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
Some partners and technology providers may process data outside Thailand. We use reasonable safeguards required by applicable law and limit transferred data to what is necessary.
8. Retention
We retain data only as needed for service delivery, support, accounting or tax, security, claims, disputes and legal duties, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. The period varies by data type, partner contract and legal requirement.
9. Security and cookies
We use access controls, authentication, encrypted connections, audit records and appropriate backups. The public site is not designed to use advertising cookies; Dispatch uses an essential session cookie for login and security. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, portability, objection, restriction, consent withdrawal or deletion, and may complain to a regulator. We may verify identity and may refuse or limit a request where the law permits. See User Data Deletion.
11. Children, changes and contact
Our service is not intended for children to book independently. Child-related details must be provided by an authorized guardian or booker. We may update this Policy and will show the effective date here. Contact [email protected] or +66 81 650 8455.
